How To Install WordPress with LAMP on Ubuntu 22.04

To install WordPress with LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) on Ubuntu 22.04, follow these steps:

Step 1 : Install LAMP Stack:

Step 2 : Create a Database for WordPress:

- Login to MySQL:

sudo mysql

- Create a new database and user for WordPress:

CREATE DATABASE wordpress;
CREATE USER 'wordpress'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'your_password';
GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON wordpress.* TO 'wordpress'@'localhost';
FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

Step 3 : Download and Install WordPress to Custom Directory:

- Navigate to the Apache web root directory:

cd /var/www/html

- Create a new directory for your WordPress installation:

- Navigate to the new directory:

cd devt

sudo wget https://wordpress.org/latest.tar.gz
