How to Install Usermin on Ubuntu 26.04

To install Usermin on Ubuntu 26.04, add the Webmin repo script, then open port 20000.

Step 1 : Update.

sudo apt update

Step 2 : Add the repository.

curl -o /tmp/setup-repos.sh https://raw.githubusercontent.com/webmin/webmin/master/setup-repos.sh
sudo sh /tmp/setup-repos.sh

Step 3 : Install Usermin.

sudo apt install usermin

Step 4 : Check status.

sudo systemctl status usermin

Step 5 : Allow the UI port.

sudo ufw allow 20000/tcp

Step 6 : Open the UI. The certificate is self-signed.

https://192.168.1.50:20000

Log in with a system user, then Sign In.

You have installed Usermin on Ubuntu 26.04.
